Alitana Investments (Private) Limited is developing a diversified agricultural business in Zimbabwe, with farming operations based in Marondera, Mashonaland East.
Our agricultural activities focus on poultry breeding, livestock production and sustainable farming practices, with a commitment to quality, reliability and supporting Zimbabwe’s growing agricultural sector.
Black Australorp Poultry Breeding & Production
At the heart of our poultry operations is the breeding and rearing of Black Australorp chickens, a dual-purpose breed valued for its egg-laying ability, hardiness and meat production.
Through our Marondera poultry project, we aim to supply farmers, households and poultry enthusiasts with quality breeding stock and chickens at different stages of development.
Our Poultry Products
1. Fertilised Black Australorp Eggs
Fertilised eggs suitable for incubation and hatching, providing farmers and poultry breeders with an opportunity to establish or expand their own flocks.
2. Day-Old Chicks
Newly hatched Black Australorp chicks for farmers and individuals looking to raise their own poultry from an early stage.
3. Growing Chicks and Young Chickens
Black Australorp chicks and growers at different stages of development, including birds from one week old through to older growers.
4. Point-of-Lay Pullets and Mature Hens
Young female chickens approaching egg-laying age, as well as mature laying hens, subject to availability.
5. Breeding Cockerels and Mature Roosters
Male Black Australorp chickens for customers looking to establish or improve their breeding flocks.
6. Table Eggs
Fresh farm eggs from our laying flock, with supply dependent on production and availability.
